I came across these ladies via recommendation - and I'm glad I did. If you are considering having some work done look no further. They really do a fabulous job. My newly built wardrobes and bedroom looked amazing when completed, exceeding expectation. I was so pleased with the quality of their work that I have given their details to friends & colleagues. They are reliable, professional and very tidy. I would definitely use their services again. A pleasure to have them work in my home.

My expectations are very high and i am pleased to say that Girl About The House exceeded them. The ladies kept me informed throughout the decorating. They gave me advice on choosing colours and the finish (matt/vinyl etc). All of the rooms look amazing. Family and friends have also commented on the end result. I had the master bedroom, double bedroom and toilet, sanded, painted, filled. No corners were cut. The wardrobes in the double bedroom look like brand new and I am very pleased that i won't need to change them. I have and will continually recommend them. Lastly i have asked them to come back to paint my hallway, small bedroom and the outside of my house.

Girl about the House undertook a huge painting task on my property, which is in the main open plan including kitchen, dining and lounge areas with closed off bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room and a large hallway. They prepared and painted all through my home to my complete satisfaction. They were efficient in their planning and undertaking of the job, extremely clean and tidy, to the point that apart from the painting, you wouldn’t have known they had been in the house. As I was out of the house working for the duration of the time that they worked for me, I had to leave the girls in the house unattended. During and following this time, I found absolutely no reason to cause me to doubt that they are completely trustworthy. I found their rates competitive. Their dedication to doing a good and proper job was without a doubt and overall I was totally satisfied with both the quality and cosmetic appearance of the job they did for me. I also found their advice regarding my requirements very sound.

These girls have done a terrific job painting my kitchen , its a big space with an awkward high ceiling . Undeterred they worked hard while we went on holiday , and we came back to a room transformed . We are happy with every aspect of their work , and I would highly recommend Girl about the House . They are a delight and we will be using them for any future work we need done .

We employed Girl About The House to pretty much re-decorate our whole 3 bed house including upstairs and downstirs Hallway (as you can see in their gallery), 2 receptions, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 of the bedrooms (including fitted wardrobes, again in their gallery). We couldn't have been happier with the results, they worked incredibly hard and made all the original woodwork look beautifully fresh and new. The finish on the job was superb and definately the best we've ever had on previous experience. Julie and Debbie always left the house clean and tidy of an evening which was invaluable as we have a young child running around. They gave us lots of advice on colour, types of paints finishes etc and have transformed our slightly tired and weary looking Victorian house into our perfect home. Recommended to all.

Julie and Debbie basically redecorated my whole flat and did a really great job. They were punctual, reliable and kept me informed throughout. The walls looked wonderful and they left the place spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending Girls About The House.

The work that girl about the house have done for me has been of very high quality. From start to finish, Their services are professional and well organised. They are trustworthy and reliable, and take great care in keeping work areas clean and tidy. They don't cut corners, and as a result the finished job looks perfect. I will deffinatly be asking them to do more work fo me in the future.

Like all the other reviews I was thrilled with the work Julie did for me. She is very reliable and trustworthy. She has high standards and kept me fully informed all of the time. I also appreciated that the was able to bring the project in on time & on budget - a rare skill these days. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anybody.
